Médecins du Monde Luxembourg is an organisation that provides care to the most vulnerable and excluded populations in Luxembourg. In the medical centres of Bonnevoie and Esch-sur-Alzette, more than 130 volunteers, supported by a small team of employees, are committed to providing care.
Regular mission
MAIN TASKS :
o Social history of the patient's situation
o Collection of social data and registration in the computerised file
o Availability and active listening / orientation
o Collaboration with other members of the Médecins du Monde team and with social partners in the field from other organisations
o Contribution to the smooth running of consultations
o Participation in social team meetings and training
PRIMARY CARE SERVICES
At Médecins du Monde medical centres:
o Esch-sur-Alzette: Thursday mornings from 9.45 to 12.30
o Luxembourg City: Tuesday afternoon from 2.45pm to 5.15pm
WE OFFER OUR VOLUNTEERS :
o an interesting and varied activity within a multidisciplinary team of experienced and committed professionals;
o a humanitarian activity in an NGO with an international network
o an integration and support taking into account their experiences and expectations;
o free training in Médecins du Monde tools and missions
o flexible monthly planning of each volunteer's activities according to their availability and needs
o Civil liability insurance for volunteer activities;
o the possibility of participation and development in the many other activities of Médecins du Monde Luxembourg;
o a continuous extension of your licence to practice.
